packed lunch problems
beware of the birth story at the end
I told my daughter she can’t have packed lunches anymore as they cost too much money, which is true, but maybe it’s just that I don’t have the time to make them and time costs more. Also, I’ve enabled her rather fine Itsu Seaweed habit.
When we have more money, you can have packed lunch again. “Okay mummy.” No questions, just acceptance. I want to be a child.
I find refuge in laundry. I feel productive putting things in their place. I like being useful. This weekend A sorted his clothes and made a pile of stuff he was happy to discard but thought I perhaps would not be ready to abandon. He was correct. I saved a small pile of t-shirts I loved him in, that I still love him in.
